Does "you" on a card mean my identity or any character I control?
The official Rules Reference states this directly, and forum discussion agrees.

"You" means your identity wherever it can be read that way, so an ally taking damage or attacking does not count. When it cannot refer to the identity (for example discarding from "your" hand), it means the player. The exception is "after [enemy] attacks you", which refers to the attacked player even if an ally defended.
