After searching the encounter deck for a card, must you shuffle it when the card does not say so?

Yes. Any time a deck is searched by a card ability, that deck is shuffled after the ability resolves, even without a (Shuffle) reminder. Repliers read the missing reminder as a lack of room on the card.
