Does completing a quest that rewards X trigger a Plot Quest worded 'whenever you take an action that provides X'?
The expansion rulebook clarification is quoted by several players, but the base rulebook text disagrees.

No. Rewards for completing a quest are not part of an action, even though the base rulebook lists Complete Quest as one of the two things you do in a turn; this is clarified in the Scoundrels of Skullport rulebook and the older publisher FAQ. A relayed designer comment says the rulebook listing is an error.
