Can a clue say it helps two players when its word uses only one of their letters?
Players mostly agree, but the rulebook only says you may state how many players a clue helps.

No. A clue helps a player only if its word uses that player's letter, so claiming it helps two players requires using both letters. One poster argued the claim is circular, but that is the minority view.
