When a player dies to a Chestburster they re-enter on their next turn as an Alien Player: shuffle the 36-card Alien deck, draw 6, and on each turn only play cards and then redraw six. No Hive phase, no Strike phase, and Alien turns don't count for Facehugger timing. Players fight you by spending Attack equal to your Defense. Several Alien Players share one Alien deck. Alien Players are not players for effects like "next player".
