How much interest do I pay on loans, and is it per loan?
The rulebook says exactly 1 Franc regardless of the number of loans; the optional Expert rule is separate.

One Franc in total, not per loan: whenever any ship lands on the Interest supply tile, every player holding at least one loan pays exactly 1 Franc, however many loans they hold. If you cannot pay it, you take another loan to cover it. Higher interest only exists in the optional Expert rules.
