Does a monster moving past a survivor knock them back or just knock them down?
Several experienced players agree; no official ruling.

Moving through or past a survivor only knocks them down. The knockback of 5 happens only when the monster ends its movement on the survivor's space, and then the survivor is knocked down as well.
