When can Run Away be used, and does it count as a Defeat?

It needs the Pictographs innovation. The rulebook lets you trigger Run Away at any time during the hunt, and each escaping survivor triggers the story event individually. Players commonly limit it to between events (after one is resolved and before the next is revealed, or before an attack's hits are rolled in a showdown) rather than mid-resolution, but that limit is a table convention. Running away follows the Defeat rules, according to forum posters.
