Do Understanding and Courage bonuses apply to every hunt event roll?
Only where the event's wording matches: the Explore bonus (+2) applies only to events that say 'investigate', and the courage Prepared bonus adds Hunt XP to the investigate roll when determining a straggler (the lowest roll in a per-survivor roll). Houseruling it more broadly is possible but not the rule.
