How does the game end under the v1.5 rules?

Under v1.5 the game-end is triggered when a player has 9 VP before playing an action token, and the game ends in the Dawn phase. The original rules end at 8 or 10 VP at the end of a Day phase. This comes from fan summaries of v1.5, not the original rulebook.
