Do I place silver and gold tokens at the same time as my regular token, or can I add them later?
The designer said bonus tokens must be placed together with the regular one.

They are committed together with your regular token at the start of your turn, so you cannot decide on the bonus action after seeing how the first one went. You then take two or three actions in a row before the next player acts. There is no extra turn at the end of the round.
