Can I move diagonally or zigzag when moving two places?
The rulebook only forbids diagonal moves; several replies agree that two orthogonal steps may turn.

You cannot make a single diagonal step, but two orthogonal steps may turn, so one step sideways plus one step up or down reaches the tile diagonal to you. Each step must be horizontal or vertical.
