At the Caravansary, which card can I discard, and can I take back the card I discard?
Several replies agree; the rulebook says only to discard 1 Bonus card from your hand.

You discard one card from your whole hand, including cards you already held or the ones you just took. Taking back a card you discarded in the same draw is allowed, and discarding a card before the action and reclaiming it is also fine. Repeating this every turn costs you an action each time.
