ISS Vanguard
How many crewmembers can go on an away team in a solo game, and may it change between planets?
Several players agree; the rulebook states only a minimum for solo play.

You choose 2, 3 or 4 sections for each landing, at least 2 crewmembers in all, and the number can change from planet to planet. An away team never needs all four sections.
