If The Dagda ignores an Epic Tale card, can I still use Master Craftsman to give it away and gain a Deed?
The designer ruled that both cards take effect and only Geis stops Master Craftsman.

Yes. The Dagda ignores the Epic Tale card's effect, but Master Craftsman does not care whether the card has an effect, so it still works whether the Dagda is played before or after it. Only Geis can stop Master Craftsman.
