Which bot effects count as attacks for Protection and similar abilities?

Any bot effect that gives you Unrest, steals from you, makes you discard, or forces you to abandon or recall counts as an attack, whatever icons are on the card, and all the effects in one bot row form a single attack. Drawing cards and gaining resources do not count.
