How do Vikings (and Atlanteans) handle history effects?

They have no history. "Put into history" sends the card to the discard pile instead, so a Viking can replay such cards (Glorious, Egyptian Tributary), and cards scoring for being in history score nothing for them. Atlanteans use a flooded pile instead.
