How do cards with a slash between two icons (like Boats or Agriculture) score?

Each icon of either type scores separately: count every matching icon on your cards, not one point per card or per matching pair. The slash means "either", not "both required". Only the icons at the top of the card under the banner count, not icons in text boxes.
