Can I play the same Free Play card more than once in a turn?

The designer answered this directly on the BGG forum.

No. An errata added shortly after release limits each Free Play card to one play per turn, to stop infinite loops (a Scythian loop with Rituals and Ceremonies was the trigger). A second copy of the same name, or a different Free Play card, can still be played, but a card that returns to your hand or is replayed from discard cannot be free played again that turn; spend an action instead. The printed rulebook glossary does not mention this limit; the designer's errata overrides it.
