How does Find work when the card says "find a region" (like Erik the Red)?

When a find offers a choice ("a region", "an Indian Elephants") you may search hand, discard pile, draw deck and nation deck, reveal any one eligible card and choose it; you are not forced to take a card already in your hand. Return the others to where they were and shuffle only the decks you actually searched. A find naming one specific card searches in order and stops when found.
