What happens to garrisoned cards when the card above them is abandoned, recalled or exiled?

They follow the card they sit under: recalled returns both to your hand, abandoned sends both to your discard pile, and similarly for exile, history or sinking. Garrisoned cards are not in play, can't be played, discarded or exhausted, but still score. Abandon sends a pinned card to discard, recall returns it to hand; you cannot voluntarily abandon or recall a pinned card without a card effect.
