Can I place my Queen Bee as my very first piece?
The rulebook allows the Queen from the first turn; the first-turn ban is a tournament rule that players report appearing in the newer Hive Pocket rules.

Under the printed rulebook, yes: the Queen may go down on any of your first four turns. Tournament play, and the newer Hive Pocket rules, forbid a first-turn Queen to reduce drawn games, so check which rules your group uses.
