Can a piece finish its move on the space where it started, for example an Ant or Spider that loops all the way round?
The designer ruled on this in 2013 and said it was not written into the rules.

No. A move must end on a different space from where the piece began, whichever piece it is. The designer said this is not written in the rulebook, but it is the ruling.
