Do offices placed by Extra Office markers, or a longer chain, count for the network score?
Several players agree and the designer's wording counts offices, not cities.

Extra offices count like any other office in your largest network. What matters is the number of offices in the network, not the length of a chain. Other players' offices do not count for you.
