What counts as adjacent when I prepare a new room, and do walls or floors matter?
A publisher ruled on diagonals and designer correspondence on walls; the rulebook states adjacency.

A new Room tile must touch an already-placed tile horizontally or vertically; diagonals do not count. Walls, ceilings and floor art only mark the colour groups and do not block adjacency. Rooms prepared by effects follow the same rule, and a room you just placed can serve as the anchor for the next one.
