In what order does Emperor Scoring happen, and what if I go past space 13?

At the end of rounds 3, 5 and 7: score the VP printed under your marker, then move back 3, 5 or 7 spaces, then, depending on where the marker ends up, take the Emperor tile bonus (space 3 or higher) or penalty (space 0); spaces 1 and 2 get neither. The track stops at 13, and every step beyond it is worth 1 VP immediately. Moving back is not a reset to zero. To avoid the penalty after the first scoring you need space 4 or more.
