When a house or restaurant straddles two tiles, which tile counts for distance?

Either one: choose whichever gives the shorter distance. A house lying on two tiles is distance 0 to restaurants on both, as long as one of its squares is beside a street on that tile, and a garden spanning the border does the same. All six squares of a house with its garden count.
