Do weapon damage bonuses apply to Retaliate and Guard?

Weapons add their damage modifier to Retaliate, because it is an Action card that deals damage (unless the weapon's text forbids reaction use). Guard deals no damage, so only a weapon's own Guard-specific ability, not its bonus damage, applies.
