The Red Cape has no hand icon, so it needs no equipping, and it isn't single-use. Killers never waste attacks, so any knife icons still hit you. A Wolf already in your space at the start of the Killer phase just attacks you once and stays put. Recover health on the Wolf's Bloodlust track heals the Wolf.
