Can you combine card-playing abilities, such as the Judge and the Crane, to reduce the cost of one card?
No. An ability that changes how a card is played or paid for (a discount, a free play, or a substitute cost) can be used only once per card played; you pick one. Effects that trigger after a card is played, like the Historian or Courthouse, can all stack.
