How do Smuggler units work after the Smugglers ally with the Atreides?

All Smuggler units and unallocated figures stay available for deployment, using the Smuggler die's Deployment result or Staban Tuek's special action (he places a Smuggler unit in his Legion, which can then move or attack). Eliminated ones can be redeployed. They enter only through actions that name Smuggler units, not whenever you add a Regular. Smuggler units can Sandride with the Legion, and the Smuggler die can be used to claim a Prescience card that needs a die, but not to play a Planning card. At round 1 the board holds two Smuggler units.
