In a 3- or 4-player game, can a partner spend my Action die so I (or they) can play a Planning card?
No. Each player uses only their own dice and plays only cards from their own subfaction deck. A card that says to play another card can only have the follow-up played by the same player. Only discarding cards for Combat dice in battle is open to both partners.
