When a Named Leader is killed, is he removed from the game or sent to the Regeneration Tank?

Sent to the Tank, and he can be deployed again after he exits. In the base game only Paul, Jessica, Beast Rabban and Thufir ever leave the game, when replaced by their upgraded versions or successors. Once in play, a Named Leader counts as in play whether on the dashboard, the board or in the Tank.
