Legions in Desert, Deep Desert, Plateau and Minor Erg Areas within range, but never Mountains (including the North Pole). A 2-Area attack needs the first Area to be Desert, so a worm cannot attack through a Mountain or from a Plateau. Worms cannot enter a Minor Erg, only attack into one.
