Can you play more Treasure cards than needed for a Black Market purchase, or play Treasure without buying anything?
Yes. Treasure can be played in the Black Market phase like the normal Buy phase, so you may play extra or all Treasures and keep the unused coins for your normal Buy phase. Playing Treasure without buying is also allowed, and the Library combo works this way. Some argued the spirit limits it to needed coins, but the rulesheet text and designer confirm the broader reading.
