Can Band of Misfits become a card that costs more than it, such as King's Court?
Normally no. Band of Misfits must become an Action in the Supply that currently costs less than it, so it cannot copy King's Court at standard prices. Only an effect that lowers the cost of a specific card could change that; the designer remarked that the FAQ would be clearer without the King's Court example.
