Does a Star Vampire still deal its wounds to the attacker after it dies, and does Arcane Mastery or Sinister Book trigger it?
The Star Vampire's wound-back still happens even if it dies, since the rulebook's effects still apply. A converted Elder Sign stops being an Elder Sign, so it does not trigger the Star Vampire ability.
