Crokinole
Do I have to flick off my thumb, or can I push with one finger?
Several players quoting tournament rules agree, though the rulebook describes the thumb flick.

The rulebook describes bracing a finger against the thumb and snapping, but tournament rules only require that the hand not move and a finger or thumb strike the disc. Any finger works. Pushes are common; nothing defines exactly where a flick turns into a push, so agree the standard in casual play.
