Can you claim "Royal" when you pass the Subject special card?
The rulebook allows any claim, but a translated rules text reportedly differs.

Yes. You may make any claim with any card, so claiming "Royal" is simply a lie here, because the Subject card is wrong against "Royal". Some translated rules say you may not claim Royal with it; a poster doubted that wording and the rulebook has no such restriction.
