Where do the red threat cubes go in the solo app, and what is threat?

Threat is the app player's Clank: its cubes go in the Clank Area and into the bag with yours. Red cubes drawn go onto the red threat track, and filling it triggers the endgame (you press the 10 Threat button, as if a player had died). Players quote the app saying threat can be removed with healing effects, though one reply says threat is a level you do not heal.
