Yes. Every card in hand must be played; the only way around it is a card that lets you discard from hand (Sleight of Hand, Apothecary and similar), and you may not discard voluntarily. This is what makes Stumbles and other Clank cards bite. You choose the order, and the order can matter when one of your cards offers a discard.
