When do I get the Mastery token?

You take it immediately when you leave the dungeon through the entrance with an Artifact, before anything else can happen. Later damage (like a Dragon Attack) doesn't take it away, and you keep your points even if cubes of your colour get pulled afterwards. A knocked-out player never gets it.
