Can I buy more than one Market item per turn, including two of the same?
The designer and the official FAQ both allow it; the rulebook's 'make a purchase' wording is a known source of doubt.

Yes. Buying is an action you can repeat as long as you can pay 7 Gold each, with no per-turn or per-visit limit and no need to leave and re-enter the room. Duplicates are fine: two Backpacks let you carry three Artifacts, and you can buy several Crowns. Clank! In! Space! restricts this, but base Clank! does not.
