Do I have to take an Artifact the moment I enter its room, or can I take it later?
The designer reversed his earlier ruling in the 2017 FAQ and confirmed it applies to base Clank!.

Later is fine. Since the official FAQ revision (applied to all Clank! games), you can take an Artifact at any point in your turn while standing in its room, so you can buy a Backpack in a Market room and then pick up the Artifact there, or even wait until your next turn. The rulebook's original wording tied pickup to entering the room; that was changed. Secrets and Monkey Idols are still taken only when you enter.
