Can a tile placement or rotation leave a player with no way out, and what then?
It can happen, though rarely: a one-way dead end or a rotation can seal a room, and only a teleport or the Catacombs Map gets out. There is no base-game fix. The optional Mercy variant in the Underworld rulebook lets a trapped player rotate their tile, and players suggest using it as a house rule in any game.
