Do Warpstones count as corruption tokens for anything other than ruination?
The rulebook only says Warpstones count toward the ruination check; the other exclusions come from several players, with some disagreement on card wording.

No. They count as one corruption token only when checking whether a region is ruined. They don't count for Nurgle's removal, Degenerate Royalty, Khorne's Bloodthirster upgrade or similar conditions, and events that clear corruption leave them.
