Can I deliberately lose dice, or send warriors with no food, to farm Sacrifice tokens?
Players disagree on the spirit; the rules text does not forbid the ship plan.

Not by simply refusing to roll a die: tokens come only from dice that are actually lost. You may ignore Shield results (they are optional) and you may sail short of food so warriors starve; the rules do not forbid this, though some groups ban it.
