Does a Rift Lands card revealed after a ruins card have to go on an open ruin?
Yes. If you have an uncovered ruin, the 1x1 from Rift Lands must go on it; if no ruin is open, it may go anywhere. Rift Lands is drawn under all normal rules, so a pending ruins requirement applies to it.
