How do the Gods of Ásgard work during a game?
The designer posted this summary himself in 2015, calling it incomplete, and a CMON producer confirmed the stay-put case.

Two random Gods are chosen at the start and each is placed on a random province, changing the rules of that province. After a player pillages a province holding a God, that player moves the God to another un-destroyed province without a God, whatever the outcome of the pillage. At the start of Ages 2 and 3 the Gods move to a new unpillaged, undestroyed province.
