Can I play more than one battle card in a battle?

Normally only the one you chose. The exception is the special cards with a solid white strength disc (Heimdall's Eye in Age 2, Heimdall's Gaze in Age 3), which may be added after all cards are revealed. The pillager has the first chance, then play goes clockwise, round and round until nobody adds more. Players report no cap on the number of such cards beyond those in your hand.
